My name is Stephanie Durruthy and I am a board-certified psychiatrist. My decades-old psychiatric clinical practice has allowed me to work with thousands of women in their quest for better mental health. In general, my mission is to help patients foster self-confidence through the process of self-awareness. My psychiatric practice provides guidance on the journey to mental health empowerment.
My knowledge of women’s health has been ever-changing with new information.
- I have been an active member of the North American Menopause Society for more than twenty years.
- My award-winning book, “The Pregnancy Decision Handbook for Women with Depression,” and associated Journal were written to help reduce the stress in the childbearing.
- My audio program, “She is Not Mentally Ill.” was created to combat the stigma on mental illnesses.
- My blogs, digital learning courses, and publications are informational resources for empowerment.
It has been a privilege to be honored as a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association for my work, and I will continue to strive bringing mental health empowerment to all.
